  °Û±  "Modern Ruin" is the latest chapter in COVENANT's epic adventure  ±Û°
  °Û±  in time and space. A band that has consistently made references   ±Û°
  °Û±  to being in motion, physical and mental travel, exploration of    ±Û°
  °Û±  the hidden and the unknown. And again they have wondrous tales    ±Û°
  °Û±  to tell us.                                                       ±Û°

  °Û±  Imagine a broken escalator coming up through the underbrush of a  ±Û°
  °Û±  forest, stretching towards the treetops, no second floor left to  ±Û°
  °Û±  receive its long-gone passengers. In the background, among the    ±Û°
  °Û±  trees, you can make out the steel skeleton of what was once a     ±Û°
  °Û±  great building, perhaps the transit hall of an airport. Once      ±Û°
  °Û±  this was a busy hub filled with people going places. Now Mother   ±Û°
  °Û±  Nature is recycling the remains, in her infinitely slow but       ±Û°
  °Û±  irresistible way. What happened here? How did it happen? Or,      ±Û°
  °Û±  perhaps, could it be that nothing ever did happen the way it was  ±Û°
  °Û±  intended to?                                                      ±Û°

  °Û±  These are among the questions asked by COVENANT on their seventh  ±Û°
  °Û±  studio album "Modern Ruin". A title that implies a whole range    ±Û°
  °Û±  of possible scenarios: a romantic lament over an epoch of         ±Û°
  °Û±  optimism; a sense of imminent doom; futuristic archaeology; a     ±Û°
  °Û±  cheeky comment on the state of the modern world...                ±Û°

  °Û±  What do the band think? They won't tell. So we're left to         ±Û°
