Mother’s Finest ist eine US-amerikanische Funk-Rock-Soul-Crossover-Band, die 1970 von dem S�nger-Ehepaar Joyce „Baby Jean“ Kennedy und Glen „Doc“ Murdock gegr�ndet wurde. Ihr erstes Album kam 1973 auf RCA heraus und ist heute ein rares Sammlerst�ck.
1976 erschien ihr 2. Album Mother’s Finest bei Epic/CBS. Es enthielt mit dem ironisch gemeinten Song Nigizz Can’t Sing Rock ‘n’ Roll einen umstrittenen Song, der f�r einigen Aufruhr sorgte. Das dritte Album Another Mother Further spielte mit der Assoziation mit dem Wort Motherfucker.

An absolute must own for MF fans! Worth just to finally have One Mother to Another finally legitimately released on CD, and remastered! Also included are songs from the pre Epic era, debut from 1972. All together a great collection especially the late 70's - early 80's stuff on disc 2! Solid gold FUNK! Get this anthology before it's gone!
