Yngwie J. Malmsteen (* 30. Juni 1963 als Lars Johan Yngve Lannerb�ck in Stockholm) ist ein schwedischer Gitarrist. Malmsteen gilt als wegweisend f�r die Verwendung von Elementen der klassischen Musik (E-Musik) im Heavy Metal bzw. Hard Rock.
Malmsteens musikalischer Stil hat in den 1980er-Jahren viele Gitarristen im Heavy-Rock-Genre beeinflusst - insbesondere seine von klassischer Musik (z. B. Ludwig van Beethoven, Johann Sebastian Bach) inspirierte Spieltechnik, die vor seiner Wirkungszeit schon in Ans�tzen bei Uli Jon Roth und Ritchie Blackmore zu h�ren war, galt als neuartig.

this album is disappointing. Being that this is Yngwie, you know that there is going to be some lightning guitar work on some of the songs. However it seemed to me that every single song was filled with so many notes that after a while it was hard to differentiate one solo from another, they began to sound the same. We know that he can play fast and he can put a trillion notes in 1 minute on a song. But I think for a blues album that is not necessarily what really needed to happen here, filling every song with as many notes as you can possibly stuff within three or four minutes to me doesn't necessarily make for a good blues album.
Additionally it seemed like with every song the production of every song anyway, sounded very similar. There wasn't anything that stand stood out between each song that made it sound different production-wise. The guitars always sounded the same the vocals always sounded the same the drums and bass always sounded the same on each song.
