Bobby attended McLennan Community College's Commercial Music Program in Waco, Texas. During his enrollment and afterward Bobby organized and booked his own band “The Timeless Country Band” receiving revues and rewards for his efforts. He was also named "Country Band of the Year" by the Music Association of Central Texas in 2006.
