[img]links/images/splogo.jpg[/img] [center][url=https://postimages.org/][img(width=500 height=501)]https://i.postimg.cc/wBjfL4h8/000.jpg[/img][/url][/center] Elektronik Ash Ra Tempel (ab 1977 nur noch Ashra) ist eine Berliner Band, die im Jahr 1970 von Manuel Göttsching, Hartmut Enke und Klaus Schulze gegründet wurde. Anfang der 1970er Jahre galt die Band neben Tangerine Dream, Agitation Free, Guru Guru, Can und anderen als Speerspitze des sogenannten Krautrocks. Sehr früh setzte die Band neben Gitarren auch Synthesizer ein. Stilistisch ist die Band der Berliner Schule zuzurechnen, wenn der Schwerpunkt auch mehr auf den Gitarren als auf den Synthesizern lag. Schwingungen has been one of my favourite albums for years, so was very wary of the tracks being revisited & performed by other musicians. The album does not disappoint - the power and intensity of Flowers Must Die is there, although it doesn't seem to have the pacing of the original - it seems to build and end too quickly. The vocals from Ariel Pink and the synth textures are very authentic. The album features founding and sole consistent member Göttsching, ably supported by Ariel Pink, Shags Chamberlain, and Oren Ambarchi.
