Mai 1958 in Kings Heath, Birmingham, England) ist eine britische Sängerin und Schauspielerin. Besonders hervorstechend war ihr extravagantes äußere. Schrillbuntes Make-Up und Kleider mit immer neuen, verrückten Haarschnitten. Sie hatte aber auch eine sehr exotische Musik kreiiert, die über puren Punk weit hinausging. Mit ihrer außergewöhnlichen Stimme war sie in der Punk-Rock-Szene sehr populär und 1982 wurde sie bei den British Rock and Pop Awards zur besten Sängerin gewählt. The album continued the new wave sound of the band's previous release, Anthem, taking it into a darker, almost gothic direction.
