Dana Fuchs (* 10. Januar 1976 in New Jersey) ist eine US-amerikanische S�ngerin und Songwriterin, deren Musik Southern Rock, Soul, Rootsmusik und Blues mischt. Sie ist auch als Schauspielerin t�tig.
Als j�ngstes von sechs Kindern wurde Fuchs im US-Bundesstaat New Jersey geboren und wuchs in Wildwood, Florida auf. Fuchs’ raue Stimme f�hrte zu Vergleichen mit Janis Joplin, und sie verk�rperte Joplin auch in dem Musical Love, Janis, das von 2001 bis 2003 lief. 2007 spielte sie die Sadie in dem Filmmusical Across the Universe.

Dana is backed by a band that is tight and talented. Joining guitarist Jon Diamond(Dana's songwriting partner) is Jack Daley on bass and Joe Daley on drums. Guests for the night were Matt Beck on guitar and Pete Levin on keyboards. Also joining Dana was her backup singers - The Screaming Sirens - Elaine Caswell, Nicki Richards & Bette Sussman. Put them all together and you get a concert that is second to none!
