The band has gone through some line-up changes since its foundation. Led by Rafael Bittencourt, the band has gained a degree of popularity in Japan and Europe, unfortunately not in Germany. Fireworks is the third studio album by the heavy metal band Angra. Angra updates its sound once again with Fireworks, a more straightforward metal record. Once again, Angra has made a successful, yet different, album. There is a good mix of fast and slow tracks. The album starts out blistering with "Wings of Reality" and "Petrified Eyes" before slowing down for the soft "Lisbon." The next three songs, including the excellent "Mystery Machine," are all-out rockers. The last four tracks alternate between fast and slow. Although this album features different influences than the previous albums, it continues Angra's history of making excellent metal albums.
