Earlier known as Hutch Stereo's. They released their two first albums at Stax, produced by Isaac Hayes and David Porter. They switched to Columbia in the mid 70's. Their association with Earth, Wind & Fire's Maurice White brought them at the top of the charts with "Best Of My Love". They had big success as well with "Boogie Wonderland" sang with Earth, Wind & Fire. They released ten albums between 1971 - 1985. The group's second album. Little change in the kind of sweet gospel-soul the trio sang on their first LP --perhaps it was a shade poppier than the first LP, but barely. Includes the small hit "Show Me How," and "Blind Alley," which was sampled in 1988 for Big Daddy Kane's 1988 hit "Ain't No Half-Steppin'," and then again by Mariah Carey on her hit "Dream Lover."
