Reggae

Gregory Anthony Isaacs (15 July 1951 - 25 October 2010) was a Jamaican reggae musician. Milo Miles, writing in The New York Times, described Isaacs as "the most exquisite vocalist in reggae".
International stardom seemed assured in 1978 when Gregory signed to the Virgin Records offshoot Front Line Records, and appeared in the film Rockers, in which he performed "Slavemaster".
More than 500 Gregory Isaacs albums have been released to date, a great many of them being compilations of previously released material.

This album finally got a proper reissue! On this expanded edition, you get the full "In Person" album with almost a disc and a half full of bonus tracks that showcases the production of Alvin Ranglin. I had not heard most of these bonus tracks before, and ended up really liking them. I like to think of the collection as being an album reissue that comes with a great reggae compilation in the spirit of releases like Hot Shots Of Reggae or Reggae Flight 404
