Seit 1994 gehört auch die Finnin Anne Nurmi, Keyboarderin und Sängerin der finnischen Gothic-Rock-Band Two Witches, als festes Mitglied zu Lacrimosa und steuert seitdem auch eigene Lieder in finnischer und englischer Sprache bei. With the track Schakal, the band Lacrimosa became one of the pioneers of gothic metal and black art in general in 1994. To celebrate its 30th anniversary, Schakal is being released in several variations, including the first demo as well as unreleased and newly recorded versions of the Lacrimosa cult track.
