Mai 1948 in Woodbridge/Suffolk) ist ein britischer Musiker, Musikproduzent, Musiktheoretiker und bildender Künstler. Eno begann seine Karriere 1971 als Mitbegründer von Roxy Music, für die der selbsternannte Nicht-Musiker Keyboards und Synthesizer spielte. Besonders auffällig war seine an den Glam-Rock-Chic angelehnte campige Aufmachung mit Federboa, Plateauschuhen und Glitzertüchern, die er mit exaltierten Bewegungen auf der Bühne kombinierte. Gleich nach dem zweiten Album For Your Pleasure 1973 stieg er bei Roxy Music wieder aus und nahm eine Reihe von eigenen Alben auf, die zunächst vom Glam Rock, dann jedoch immer mehr ambient-geprägt waren. ForeverAndEverNoMore is the twenty-eighth studio album by Brian Eno. The album was announced as Eno's first vocal-based album since Another Day on Earth (2005) (although The Ship (2016) also prominently featured vocals), and regards his "concerns about the future from both an environmental and geopolitical standpoint", with particular focus on the climate crisis and "the prospect of humankind's demise". Sophie Harris of The Guardian noted that "these are songs rather than ambient pieces, and Eno's voice is deeper now and more commanding, even as it ripples with anger, regret - flashing like a chameleon's skin in flux".
