Morgan had a string of urban contemporary hits from the mid-1980s to the mid-1990s. Most notable include her cover version of Prince's "Do Me, Baby" (1985), "Do You Still Love Me" (1986) and "Still in Love with You" (1992). Morgan cites Chaka Khan as a major influence. Good Love is the second studio album by American recording artist Meli'sa Morgan. Her second album for the label was one of the hottest urban contemporary items in 1987. Morgan scored both sassy uptempo hits and a romantic duet with Kashif, "Love Changes." Her fiery, sensual vocals and even hotter looks put her on the covers of many music and fashion magazines geared toward the urban contemporary/Quiet Storm female audience. It didn't hurt that the album was nicely produced and arranged, well-packaged, and perfectly sequenced to vary her sound and appeal.
