Rose Stone (born Rosemary Stewart, March 21, 1945) is an American singer and keyboardist. She is best known as one of the lead singers in Sly and the Family Stone. During the 1980s and 1990s, Stone worked as a backing session singer, appearing on recordings by Michael Jackson, Phish, Ringo Starr, Reef and Bobbysocks!.
She also appears on Robbie Williams' album Escapology on the track "Revolution", a duet with Williams.

Sly Stone's little sister, Rose Banks' first and only Motown album showed promise. Only two singles were released. "Whole New Thing," the first single, was co-written by Jeff Bowen who produced every track except one, "Right's Alright," a co-production with Hamp "Bubba" Banks, Rose's husband. The tune is typical of Bowen's synthesizer-dominated, high energy tracks. Ex-Family Stone members, brother Freddie Stone and Cynthia Robinson, supply their talents on guitar and trumpet respectively. Banks gets mellow on "Darling Baby," popularized by the Elgins, giving the slinky, pleading doo wop tune a sweet updating. The Holland-Dozier-Holland classic was Rose's second and final single. Motown should have dropped the sizzling "I've Got to Make It on My Own," originally by the Spinners off of New & Improved; it's Banks' most spirited vocal and had the potential to make some noise. She remakes big brother Sly's "I Get High on You" to good effect only to have it languish on the LP. Politics probably caused Motown's disinterest, since the material is on point. Augmenting Freddie and Cynthia are David Walker (guitar), Rusty Allen (bass), Truman Thomas (keyboards), and Pat Rizzo (tenor sax).
