Millie Jackson (* 15. Juli 1944 als Mildred Jackson in Thomson, Georgia) ist eine US-amerikanische R&B-Singer-Songwriterin, die ihre größten Erfolge in den 70er Jahren feierte. Bis 1988 platzierte sie rund 40 Hits in den amerikanischen R&B-Charts. Zu ihren erfolgreichsten Werken gehören die Alben Caught Up (1974), Feelin' Bitchy (1977) und Get It Out'cha System (1978), die in den USA jeweils über 500.000 Mal verkauft und mit Gold ausgezeichnet wurden.
Richtig durchstrarten konnte sie trotz toller Stimme mit ihrer Karriere aber nie.

A strong album of duets by Millie Jackson and Isaac Hayes. It's appropriately soulful and extremely well produced. "Do You Wanna Make Love" is the best known single, but I find it to be one of the weaker tracks. I much prefer "Sweet Music, Soft Lights, and You", "Feels Like the First Time", "Love Changes", "I Changed My Mind", "If I Had My Way", and "If You Had Your Way". I'm not sure I'd put it in with Millie's best albums but if you love one or both artists there's no reason not to get it.
