Peter John Joseph Murphy (11.7.1957) ist ein britischer Musiker. Bekannt wurde er als charismatischer Sänger von Bauhaus. Er wird manchmal als "Godfather of Goth" bezeichnet, dank seiner Bühnenpräsenz und Auftreten bei Bauhaus.
