Cameron (born July 10, 1957, in Chicago, Illinois), better known as Captain Sky, is an American musician and singer. Captain Skys funk-based musical style, futuristic costumes, and psychedelic imagery are similar to those of George Clinton, Bootsy Collins, and other Parliament/Funkadelic projects. Captain Sky returns for some more fairly long and jammy P-funk inspired grooves. The Captain has a core four piece of Chicago sidekicks on drums, bass, guitar, and keyboard on a couple of tracks, but the others are accented by a funky blend of strings, horns, and percussion arranged by Daryl Cameron and Don "Bee Bee" Burnside. The record's nearly worth it alone for the cover art featuring the Captain in a Superman pose, flying above the skyscrapers and deflecting bullets!
