En Esch, eigentlich Klaus Schandelmaier (* 1968) ist ein deutscher S�nger, Percussionist, Multiinstrumentalist und Komponist im Industrial-Rock- und Crossover-Bereich, der sich vor allem in den USA einen Namen gemacht hat. Er ist als S�nger, Programmer, Schlagzeuger, Gitarrist, Producer und Pianist aktiv.
En Eschs musikalische Basis bildet seine solide Ausbildung zum Schlagzeuger. Ab Mitte der 1980er Jahre erlangte er mit der Industrial-Rock-Band KMFDM (Kein Mitleid f�r die Mehrheit) wachsenden Bekanntheitsgrad und war an Komposition und Produktion von 14 ihrer Alben und 20 Singles ma�geblich beteiligt.

With Erica Dilanjian and Gabriel Lennox providing their soulful and harmonious vocal accompaniments, both bring forth a danceable and funky Chicago vibe, Raymond Watts’ giving us a sneering crooning coda on “Push.” The vocal interplay between the two longtime bandmates on “Wumms” is also a highlight. ESCH’s composition and programming often gets overlooked in favor of his throaty baritone and snarling lyrical delivery, but tracks like “Eden” and especially “Wahrhaftige T�uschung” ambiently resound with his proficiency. Dance Hall Putsch certainly stands out in EN ESCH’s long history, as much for the masterful production and songwriting as for the artist’s continued efforts to experiment and redefine his creative persona. But if all of that isn’t impressive enough, it’s also an album sure to get you dancing�
