A New York native, she began her professional career in the mid-1970s and is most known for singles such as "This Time I'll Be Sweeter", "Angel of the Night", and "I Try". Her career spanned over four decades. Intuition is the eighth album by American singer-songwriter Angela Bofill. Billboard Single Reviews, Black, Picks, on the release of "I Just Wanna Stop" wrote: "Bofill is graceful captured on this jazz-inflected rendition." "Delicate yet self-assured vocals on the sassy title track, the seductive "Long Gone" and the jazzy "Special Lover"...features...".
