Born November 2, 1944 in Todmorden, Yorkshire, England, Keith Emerson is best remembered for his role in the groups The Nice and Emerson, Lake & Palmer. Emerson died on March 11, 2016 by suicide at his home in Santa Monica Marc Henry Bonilla (born July 3, 1955) is an American guitarist, singer, and composer, who has worked as a sideman to artists such as Keith Emerson, Ronnie Montrose, Glenn Hughes, Edgar Winter, David Coverdale, and Asia. In this clash of titans, Emerson's Moog is playing with the advantage of the nimble fingers of its leading icon unleashing full-speed exchanges, jumping from one keyboard to another, or switching to the 'grand piano'. Only when Emerson realizes he is reaching the breaking point does he give way to Bonilla, who tries to hold up his end as best he can, as only he knows how to.
