Dub Syndicate ist eine britische Dub-Band. Gegründet wurde sie von dem Schlagzeuger Lincoln „Style“ Scott von den Roots Radics und Adrian Sherwood. Ein Großteil ihrer Platten wurden von Adrian Sherwood produziert und auf seinem Label On-U Sound Records veröffentlicht. Dub Syndicate haben mit diversen bekannten Künstlern wie Lee Perry, King Tubby und Dr. Pablo (nicht zu verwechseln mit Augustus Pablo) zusammengearbeitet.

A new set of classic 'versions' with fresh overdubs, mastered by Frank Merritt. Material from Dub Syndicate’s dalliance with Lee “Scratch” Perry thru their ’Stoned Immaculate’ and beyond are sifted out and rinsed in the echo chamber by Sherwood and Dub Asante band’s Cyrus Richard to renew the timeless pulse of Lincoln Valentine “Style” Scott, whose stick work links The Roost Radics to New Age Steppers and Creation rebel, via On-U Sound’s leading dub band.
The results could arguably have been made at any point over the past 40 years, running from the psychoactive lather of FX on ‘Plains of Africa (Echo, Echo, Echo)’ to the wheezing stdio vapours of ‘Intercommunications’ via breezy melodica contrails and spring reverb-loaded lustre of ‘Right Back to Your Soul’, the muddy-footed trample of Stay Tuned’, the quim-quivering swole subs in ‘Pleasurezone Transmitter’, and Scott’s sizzling drumwork deftly diffused in ‘No Lightweight Here’.
