Eine der heissesten Ohiofunk Bands der 70er und 80er, Slave gegründet 1975 von Tropmeter Steve Washington. Der erste Hit war "Slide" von 1977. Es folgten noch einige in den R&B Charts.


SLAVE were already established from the 70's and there early works was funk but 70's funk a far cry from 80's funk which had the introduction of the synthesiser or possible drum machines though SLAVE performed with live instruments Drums Bass Guitar etc...
One of their better albums since "Stone Jam" even though Steve Washington & Steve Arrington are gone, it's still a funky & groovin' album
