Essentially, this is an early 80's collaboration between an ex-Hawkwind member (Dave Anderson) and an ex-Amon Duul II member (John Weinzierl) recorded in Wales. This is a surprisingly "freaky" album, considering the time it was made. The first track is the weakest, but still acceptable. The album as a whole harkens back to the classic AD II jams of yore (think Phallus Dei - Tanz), but with an updated sound. Dream like atmosphere, strange sounds, moans, screams and extended jams how is this not a good album? Amon Düül II albums from late 70's like Only Human sound like complete crap in comparison. Vortex, also from 1981, is a good album, but this sound like old school krautrock! Get it if you like early Amon Düül II or A.R. & Machines.
